ISSP applications closed

The ISSP 2012 Applications desk is now officially closed! We received 238 applications from 42 countries, 6 continents!! We are a little amazed and honored by such attention. The applications will be evaluated by a committee of invited experts - Inese Baranovska, Andrejs Grants, Alnis Stakle and Arnis Balčus. The results of the evaluation will be available in the first week of June.

Autora vakars muzejā - tikšanās ar fotogrāfi Aleksandru Demenkovu

Piektdien, 11.maijā plkst. 18:00, ISSP Skola sadarbībā ar Latvijas Fotogrāfijas muzeju aicina uz tikšanos ar fotogrāfi Aleksandru Demenkovu (RU): “Zudušo sapņu teritorija”. Tikšanās notiek Latvijas Fotogrāfijas muzejā. Papildus ekskursijai pa izstādi, autore rādīs un stāstīs arī par citiem saviem darbiem.

Meistarklase "Landscape and Manscape"

Aicinām fotogrāfus līdz 10. aprīlim pieteikties 2 dienu meistarklasei ar Islandiešu fotogrāfu un foto-redaktoru Pallu Stefanssonu! Meistarklase ainavas un cilvēku ietekmētās ainavas tematikā notiks 20.-21. aprīlī Rīgā un Bolderājā.
We invite photographers to apply for a 2-day masterclass with Icelandic photographer Páll Stefánsson (Iceland Review Magazine) "Landscape and Manscape: The Edge of Riga" on 20-21 April! Applications accepted till 10th April.

Trešdien, 22.februarī plkst 18:30 ISSP Skolas vieslekciju programmas ietvaros notiks tikšanās ar Igauņu modes fotogrāfi Katrīnu Tang (fashion and editorial photography), kura rādīs/stāstīs par saviem projektiem.

ISSP 2012 - dates

Dear all, for your information, the International Summer School of Photography will this year take place in Kuldiga on 4-12 August 2012. We are in process of putting together the programme. Applications will be announced as usual around end of March - stay tuned & check this site a little later.
