David Bate on ISSP (28 September 2011):
ISSP 2011 was a great experience for me, as I am sure for everyone else who did it. I was amazed at the energy of the event and very impressed by how much so many of the students could achieve in one week. This is no doubt a 'hothouse environment' which enables passion to turn into production, and production into a critical dialogue and thinking with those around them who also love photography. Beautifully organized, wonderful location, light and sounds, a real summer treat.
