Applications

The Applications for the projects are now closed. Results of the selection will be available in the beginning of February.

The application must include:
- Motivation statement and an initial idea of a project you would like to implement if selected;
- Your artistic CV;
- A selection of up to 20 images (JPG, max size 300kb each) from 2-3 photography series.

Applications are welcome from photographers who correspond to the following criteria:

• nationals or residents of Latvia, Turkey, or any other EU or neighboring country
• at least 18 years old,
• are working in the genre of documentary photography, and have realized individual projects,
• are motivated to produce individual work within the subject of the project,
• can freely express themselves in English.

The project participants must commit to participation in both project workshops and producing, by August 2012, an individual documentary photography project in framework of the subject “Middle Town”.

The 12 participants (preliminary: 4 from Turkey, 4 from Latvia, 4 from other EU/Neighboring countries) will be selected by project partners in cooperation with project tutors. Diversity of documentary approaches within the group will be appreciated. The results of the selection will be announced by the beginning of February 2012.
