From 4 - 12 August in Pelči, Kuldīga district, 72 photographers from 22 countries broadened their knowledge as part of ISSP or the International Summer School of Photography. Throughout the week, participants worked on individual photo projects under the guidance of internationally renowned teachers within six workshops offering a comprehensive and diverse insight into photography:

Workshop No.1 - A personal approach in photography: From diary to fiction - by Arja Hyytiäinen (Finland)
Workshop No.2 - Yes, but what does it mean? Creating concepts, exploring ideas - by Phillip Toledano (USA)
Workshop No.3 - Finding your photographic voice: Latvia contemporary - by Jodi Bieber (Sounth Africa)
Workshop No.4 - Portraits: A practical guide to the art of seeing - by Hellen van Meene (The Netherlands)
Workshop No.5 - Editing workshop: The finishing touches - by Christian Caujolle (France)
Workshop No.6 - Middle Town: Picturing the Unspectacular - by Bas Vroege and Hans van der Meer (The Netherlands)

The exhibition presents the collection of photo-series, installations, dummy books and video works produced during the ISSP. The outcome celebrates the diversity of creative approaches in photography and is at the same time a tribute to both ISSP camp and the host town of Kuldīga.

No 4. – 12. augustam Kuldīgā, Pelču muižā norisinājās Starptautiskā fotogrāfijas vasaras skola (ISSP), kurā meistarklases fotogrāfijas studentiem no visas pasaules vadīja starptautiski augsti novērtēti fotogrāfijas pasniedzēji. Nedēļas garumā 72 dalībnieki no 22 vastīm strādāja pie individuālajiem fotoprojektiem sešās dažādās meistarklasēs, kas piedāvāja daudzpusīgu ieskatu fotogrāfijā:

1. Personiska pieeja fotogrāfijā: Pārvēršot dienasgrāmatu stāstā  - pasniedzēja: Arja Hītieinena (Arja Hyytiäinen, Somija)
2. Jā, bet ko tas nozīmē? Konceptu radīšana, ideju izpēte  Pasniedzējs: Filips Toledano (Phillip Toledano, ASV)
3. Meklējot savu balsi fotogrāfijā: laikmetīgā Latvija Pasniedzēja: Džodija Bībere (Jody Bieber, Dienvidāfrika)
4. Portreti: Praktisks ceļvedis redzēšanas mākslā Pasniedzēja: Helēna van Mīna (Hellen van Meene, Nīderlande)
5. Rediģēšanas meistardarbnīca: pēdējie slīpējumi Pasniedzējs: Kristians Kožols (Christian Caujolle, Francija)
6. “Viduspilsēta: attēlojot ikdienišķo" Pasniedzēji: Bas Vrūge un Hans van der Mērs (Bas Vroege, Hans van der Meer, Nīderlande)

Izstādē parādās ISSP laikā radīto foto-sēriju, instalāciju, pašpublicēto grāmatu un video-darbu kolekcija, demonstrējot radošo dažādību fotogrāfijas mēdija izmantošanā.
