Apgūsti fotogrāfiskās domāšanas pamatus un kameras tehniskās iespējas intensīvā divu mēnešu kursā, radošā un interaktīvā vidē ar atzītiem un profesionāliem pasniedzējiem. Kursu “Ievads fotogrāfijā” piedāvā Biedrība ISSP – fotogrāfijas izglītības platforma ar vairāk nekā 10 gadu starptautisku pieredzi.

Dear friends, attention! We are delighted to announce that the applications for the ISSP 2013 are now open! This year, the ISSP masters are Esther Teichmann, Todd Hido, Yan Morvan, Yuri Kozirev & Andrei Polikanov, Teun van der Heijden and Elina Brotherus. You can send in your applications till 8 May 2013.

ISSP 2013 dates
Happy New year everyone! We are glad to inform that ISSP 2013 will take place on 3-11 August in Kuldīga. The call for applications will be open from the end of March until the beginning of May 2013. More information to come, stay tuned!

Editing a Project into a Book
For those of you who've been working on a project for a while, dreaming to someday turn it into a book: we invite applications for a 4-day workshop with Norwegian photographer and book publisher Morten Andersen "Editing a Project into a Book" - on 21-24 October in Riga. Application deadline: 27th September.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from ISSP, but I was suprised on all counts. The level of the students, and their ability AND desire to go beyond what they were used to. I was surprised by the intensity of the experience - how quickly we became a close-knit community, and by how much I got out of it. I was quite sad, when it was all over.

Otrdien, 14. augustā, Splendid Palace Mazajā zālē notiks divu starptautiski augsti novērtētu fotogrāfu publiskas uzstāšanās - konceptuālā mākslinieka Filipa Toledano un daudzu pasaules fotožurnālistikas balvu ieguvējas Džodijas Bīberes darbu prezentācijas.
ISSP 2012 Evening programme
As every year, the ISSP evening programme is open to all photography lovers - free of charge! Every evening starting from Sunday, 5 August, till Friday, 10 August, we will offer a series of fascinating presentations and artist talks by ISSP masters and invited guests. On Saturday, the 11th, everyone is invited to the Opening of ISSP exhibition at the new Kuldiga Town Exhibition Hall and screening of participants final works at the open air Goldingen cinema.
