The 3rd International Summer School of Photography took place in Ludza, Latvia, on 2 - 10 August 2008.

ISSP 2008 had 52 participants from Latvia, Russia, Belorus, Estonia, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and UK. The students worked in 5 thematic workshops led by Andrejs Grants (Latvia), Stefan Rohner (Spain), Arion Kudasz (Hungary), Tomáš Agat Błoński (Slovakia) and Christopher Muller (Germany). The special guests of ISSP 2008 were Barbara Klemm (Germany) and Alnis Stakle (LV).

The photo exhibition of the students’ works was open for the public in Ludza on 9 August 2008 - see the Gallery for a full collection of the works. From 6.10.2008 till 1.11.2008 the exhibition travelled to Goethe Institute in Riga. The ISSP 2008 Catalogue was released on 6 October 2008.
