AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE

Participation fee
Participation fee includes workshop tuition and portfolio reviews, 8 days accommodation at ISSP campus, full board (3 meals per day) and local transportation during the workshop.

ISSP is a non-profit entity and our aim is to ensure the advancement of students based on their talent and motivation, independent of their financial well-being. Therefore, a considerable number of participants with competitive background and motivation but with limited financial means shall be admitted on a Subsidized participation fee. Please note, that in order to qualify for the fee subsidy, your application (background, motivation and portfolio submissions) must be above average in quality. The reason for applying for the subsidy must be clearly explained.

Accommodation
A dormitory-style accommodation at ISSP campus in Ezersala boarding school is included in the participation fee: basic but comfortable 5 to 9-bed rooms with shared bathrooms. Alternatively, you can arrange accommodation yourself in a hotel in Ludza or in one of the family-owned guesthouses. In this case, you will have to take care of the regular transport to the ISSP site yourself (possible if you come with your own car). Participation fee is equal in both cases.

ISSP Rules

The participants of ISSP undertake to respect the following rules:
* To take part in the ISSP programme, particularly the work of their workshop, for its entire duration;
* To create a minimum of 3 photographs for the ISSP final exhibition (the number may vary and must be approved by your workshop teacher) and to submit electronic versions of thereof. The final works will remain the property of ISSP organizers, who reserve the right to reproduce them for publicity purposes, with due referrals to the authors;
* To treat with due respect the ISSP fellow participants and staff, the staff and inhabitants of the boarding school and the neighborhood, animals and other living beings;
* To treat the facilities, equipment and materials provided by the ISSP with care; to leave the working places in proper condition after use;
* To take due care of their belongings. ISSP organizers will not take responsibility for equipment or other personal belongings;
* To take due care of themselves, particularly in respect to safety precautions in the labs, swimming places, etc. ISSP organisers do not assume responsibility for health and security of the participants.
* To pay the advance of the participation fee in advance of the workshop, and the remaining part upon the registration to the ISSP on-site.
